a beautiful morning in Verona, Italy
A blog, focussed on living and traveling around the Mediterranean, especially France and Italy, but also Spain, Portugal and more. Slow life, people, markets, food, gardens, local customs, changing seasons, organic farms.. discover all this with me, and get inspired for your next trip to this magnificent part of the world.
I stay away from large cities, always in search for the 50s style, small fishing villages of the bygone era; where you can just hop on a bike and cycle to the nearest bay, the local market, then back home, just in time to prepare your Mediterranean lunch.
writing memories in my travel journal
Born in Poland, and living abroad for the past 20 years, Patricia loves to travel slow. Always organising her own travel, carefully choosing accommodation close to the weekly market and places she wants to be near to, during her stay.
I lived in the US, UK, France and Portugal, and it was, in the Southern Europe, where I felt the happiest and most inspired. Mediterranean Travels blog was born from love for the Mediterranean - it's villages, gardens, food, people, markets, changing seasons.. There are so many beautiful, little towns, waiting to be discovered. Hence, the idea for this blog, to share all my little tips and inspire anyone who wants to savour every minute and experience the local life.
I hope, you will find lots of inspiration here, for your next unforgettable stay in Southern Europe, and that you will keep coming back - there is more to come!
