Passing through picturesque sights of little villages, charming Italian homes, wineries and poplars, the less then 1-hour train from Milan has finally arrived in Verona. The station was not big but boy, was it hot!Luckily, taxis were waiting in front of the station. We managed to fit in, with all our luggage and a buggy. Windows opened, off we went, climbing up stunning hills, passing creamy, rusty and pinky coloured homes and low apartment buildings. Already, one thing is certain, the charm of this romantic town is unbelievable and makes you feel like you have just stepped back in time.
After about 15 minutes taxi ride, we took a right turn, passing stylised, metal gates at Via Sommavalle 1; we have arrived!
